W. Herman Sharp

W. Herman Sharp, 85, of Goshen passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Willard Walker Hospice home. He was born on March 9, 1928, in Madison County, Ark., to Aven and Bessie Sharp. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ivan Sharp; son, Myron Sharp and his first wife, Almenda (Ola) Sharp. He is survived by his wife, Ann Sharp of the home; son, Doyle Sharp and wife, Helen of Goshen; four grandchildren, Wendy, Scott, Michael and Natalie; five great-grandchildren; and numerous family members and friends. The family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Beard's Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Bridgeway Community Church of the Nazarene, 122 Tuttle Rd., Goshen, AR 72735, with the Rev. Steven Thomas and Pastor Mike Morris officiating.
