Wendell E. Crowe

Wendell E. Crowe, 79, of Springdale, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013, in Springdale. He was born Dec. 17, 1933, in Gravity, Iowa, to Edward Earl and Dorothy Ann Akers Crowe. Wendell was a mechanic for Danaher Tools where he retired. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean conflict. He was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Springdale. He was preceded in death by one brother, Earl Crowe. Survivors include his wife, Nora Piazza Crowe of the home; one daughter, Rozetta Strother and husband, Jim of Tulsa, Okla.; one son, Vernon Crowe and wife, Phylecya of Troy, Ala.; two brothers, Gail Crowe of Colorado and Ronald Crowe of Dallas, Texas; four sisters, Genese Rogers, Therra Fayne Hartle, Leta Nine and Carolyn Marsala, all of Colorado; and one granddaughter, Lora Streeter and husband, Alden of Springdale. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Thursday, April 18 at Sisco Funeral Chapel with a Rosary to follow at 5 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Mass of Christian burial will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 19 at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Springdale with Father John Connell officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Tontitown.
