Robert Roy Bowerman

Robert Roy "Bob" Bowerman, 81, of Rogers passed away March 29, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark. He was born Sept. 27, 1931, in Chicago, Ill., to Roy and Ruth Bowerman. Bob loved watching the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs and enjoyed reading and gardening. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1952 to 1958. Bob is preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Patsy Storey. He is survived by one son, Shawn Bowerman (Billie) of Rogers, Ark.; one brother, Richard Bowerman (Kathy) of Rockford, Ill.; and one grandson, Jacob Bowerman of Rogers, Ark. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ark., with the Rev. Bob Cemer officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post #100, Northwest Arkansas Honor Guard. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers.
