Clara Combs Tucker

Clara Combs Tucker, 85, of Elkins, Ark., died Saturday, March 30, 2013. She was born Sept. 22, 1927, in Patrick, Ark., the daughter of Roy Stufflebeam and Inez James Stufflebeam. She was a poultry farmer who loved gardening. The most important thing to her in life was her family, children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, James Combs. Survivors includes two daughters, Elberta Swan of Victoria, Texas, and Carmen Scheitzer of Campeche, Mexico; son, Jerry Combs, Elkins, Ark.; former husband of 27 years, Ralph Tucker of Elkins; former daughter-in-law, Karen Combs Pritchard of Elkins; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
