Charles Dayton Fish

Charles Dayton Fish, of Bentonville, Ark., died Sept. 6, 2012. He was born on March 4, 1923, in Gould, Ark., to Garvin and Myrtle McDonald Fish. He served in the U.S. Navy as an aircraft pilot and flew "Hell Divers" in the Pacific during World War II. He married Anna Delle Horne in 1944 in Pensacola, Fla. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bentonville. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Anna Delle Fish; one son, Miles Dayton Fish and wife, Byretta H. Fish of Bentonville, Ark.; two daughters, Ann Hamblet of Evanston, Ill., Kay Fish of Fayetteville, Ark.; grandchildren, Milo Fish Milton, Jason Fish, Spencer Fish, Nicholas Fish, Emily Fish, Amy Hamblet, John Hamblet, James Hamblet; and three great-grandchildren, Halle Fish, Eli Milton and Oliver Milton. His Memorial Service will be Tuesday, Sept. 11, 10:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, West Central and A, Bentonville, Ark. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to the "Benevolence Fund Second Street Pantry" at the First United Methodist Church, 201 NW 2nd St., Bentonville, AR 72712.
