Carolyn Jane (Beaver) Bowler died peacefully Nov. 24, 2012, at the Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark., after a long battle with various health problems. Carolyn was born in Bentonville, Ark., on Feb. 21, 1943, to Bill and Jane Beaver. Carolyn grew up and went to school in Bentonville. She then moved to Kansas City and married David W. McCall II in May of 1963. To this union two children were born, David and Kimberly. They later divorced and Carolyn married John Bowler of Springfield, Mo. They moved out west to Wyoming were they lived for several years. Carolyn was employed by Amoco Production Company in Powell, Wyo., and was later transferred to Tulsa, Okla., where she and John made their home until his passing in September of 2002. After having a stroke, she was moved to Bentonville, where she could be surrounded by friends until her passing. She was preceded in death by her mother, father and loving husband, John Bowler. She is survived by her son, David McCall of Kansas City; daughter, Kimberly Brandon of Powell, Wyo.; and two grandsons, Trevor Brandon of Bozeman, Mont., and Hayden Brandon of Powell, Wyo. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude for those caring for Carolyn in her final years. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, in St. Mary's Cemetery, with Fr. Mike McDevitt officiating, under the care of Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home. No visitation is planned.
