Andrew Quinn Pray

Andrew Quin Pray, age 30, of Dallas, Ga., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012. He was born on Nov. 26, 1981, in New Orleans, La. Andrew was preceded in death by his fraternal grandfather, Hubert Pray. Andrew was the worship pastor at West Ridge Church in metropolitan Atlanta, Ga. He grew up in Springdale, Ark., the son of a pastor. At an early age, he began following his father around in the ministry, going to music rehearsals and activities. He married his high school sweetheart, Courtney, and they have served faithfully in ministry together since. He was a loyal Christ follower, wonderful husband to Courtney, daddy to his three children, trusted friend and gifted worship pastor. Andrew positively impacted the lives of everyone he met. He was genuinely concerned about adding value to their life story. He loved the Church of Jesus. He adored his family, and his legacy of faith will be felt for generations to come. Survivors include his wife, Courtney Pray of Dallas, Ga.; two sons, Noah and Carson Pray, both of Dallas, Ga.; a daughter, Halle Pray of Dallas, Ga.; parents, Buster and Martha Pray of Bentonville, Ark.; sister, Mandi and her husband, Josh Carson, of Fort Smith, Ark.; maternal grandparents, Leland and Laurin Hume of Jackson, Miss.; and fraternal grandmother, Dorothy Pray of Jackson, Miss. A memorial celebration will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at 1 p.m. at West Ridge Church, Dallas, Ga., with the Rev. Brian Bloye and the Rev. Paul Richardson officiating. Visitation will be held at West Ridge Church, Dallas, Ga., on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, from 11 a.m. until noon. A memorial celebration will also be held at Cross Church Pinnacle Hills, Rogers, Ark., on Nov. 29, 2012, at 3 p.m., with Dr. Ronnie Floyd officiating.
