Ruth Elizabeth Lawrence

Ruth Elizabeth Lawrence (Mama Ruth), 90, a resident of Cincinnati, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012. She was born Dec. 31, 1921, in Locust Grove, Okla., to Duey and Edith Brown Plumlee. She married Earl Lawrence in Rose, Okla. He preceded her in death on Nov. 25, 2001, after 59 years of marriage. They enjoyed family and friends, they always made anyone who came to their house feel at home. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son (Robert Lawrence), great grandson (Anthony Lawrence), her brothers (Estel, Mack, Dee, Donnie and Kenneth Plumlee). She is survived by six sons, David and Joyce Lawrence of Siloam Springs, Ark., Dallas and Shirley Lawrence of Spring Branch, Texas, Charles Lawrence of Westville, Okla., John Lawrence of Springdale, Ark., Roger and Dee Lawrence of Bentonville, Ark., Eddie and Mary Lawrence of Chewey, Okla.; two daughters, Naomi and Dale McReynolds of Dutch Mills, Ark., and Rita and John Randolph of Cincinnati, Ark.; two brothers, Dallas (Babe) Plumlee and Raymond (Blackie) Plumlee of Salina, Okla.; four sisters, Beulah Walters of Salina, Okla., Daisy Holt and Jean Boatright of Pryor, Okla., and Frances Lawrence of Adair, Okla.; 25 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Summers Missionary Baptist Church.
