Dr. Robert H. Langston, age 81, died Nov. 23, 2012, while enjoying life with friends heading to a Razorback football game. Dr. Bob was a medical student in the 50's in Little Rock and had his own practice in Harrison from 1961 to 1996 when he retired. He was active in the community along with his wife Frances of 59 years. Volunteering for the Goblins and North Arkansas Pioneers to help with sidelines for athletes, Medical Director and co-founder of the Medical Mission Clinic, founding board president for the North Arkansas Counseling Foundation. Anyone who spent more than a few minutes with him knew he was an avid Razorback Fan a Razorback Foundation contributor since 1970. Services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at the First Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and was a long time member with his wife. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at the church. He is survived by his wife Frances Simpson Langston; three sons, William Robert (Bill), James David (Jim), and Thomas Albert (Tom) Langston all of Harrison; one sister; five grandchildren; host of family and friends throughout the Razorback Nation.
