Nan B. Parry Shilts entered into the joy and loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ unexpectedly on Sunday morning, Nov. 18, 2012, after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at Hemet Valley Hospital. Nan was born on Jan. 30, 1935, in Pennsylvania to Mary and Herbert Parry with five siblings, Herb, Lois, Ed, Fred and Suzie. She became the beloved wife to Bob Shilts on Aug. 17, 1957, and they enjoyed 55 years of marriage. Nan was predeceased by her parents and eldest brother, Herb Parry. Nan was a beloved Mom to Karen Murray, Ron Shilts, Sue Connolly and Pam Davidson, a dear grandmother to Julia, Robert, Greg, Skyler, Ashley, Christine, Jonathon, Michelle, Danielle, Rebecca, Macgregor, Holly and Collin and great-grandmother to Jeremy. She was also a dearly beloved friend to many. She was always serving and putting the needs of others ahead of her own. There is, was and never will be, anyone else like her. A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25, at the Oasis Clubhouse, 29100 Midway Summit, Menifee, CA 92584. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
