Earl Wayne Rankin

Earl Wayne Rankin, age 53, of Fayetteville, was born Sept. 23, 1959, and passed away Nov. 19, 2012. Survivors include his parents, Frankie and Geneva Rankin of Brentwood, Ark.; one son, Joshua Lee Rankin of Brentwood, Ark.; two daughters, Pamela Kay Johnson and husband, Terry of Adamsville, Tenn.; Jinnifer Perry and husband, James of Johnson, Ark.; one brother, Jerial Dean Rankin and Lorrie of West Fork, Ark.; four grandchildren, Triston, Vanessa, Kathleen Johnson and Waylen Perry; nieces and nephews; Earl's significant other, Jerry Ann Smith, who has been with him through all of this, and she has three daughters and seven grandchildren. Earl worked at RMP Tunes Concrete and also worked on a farm. He loved animals and did concrete work, building houses with his brother. Earl liked working outdoors, fishing, camping and cooking out on the grill, and walking with his dog, "Lady Bug". Private family inurnment services will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. at the Mt. Comfort Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to friends of hospice in care of the Washington Regional Foundation, PO Box 356, Fayetteville, AR 72702.
