Wallace Jacob Auchmoody Jr.

Wallace Jacob Auchmoody Jr., 67, of Rogers, Ark., passed away at Regency Hospital, Nov. 18, 2012, after a long illness. He was born March 15, 1945, in Lebanon, Mo., the son of Wallace Jacob Auchmoody Sr. and Minta Lucille (Hairston) Auchmoody. He was employed by AB Express and previously worked for Tyson Foods and the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette in Lowell. He is survived by his wife, Mary Catherine "Cathy" Auchmoody; one daughter, Patricia Auchmoody Wynn and husband, Todd, Hot Springs Ark.; one son, Michael Auchmoody, Byers, Texas.; two stepdaughters, Shanna Davis, Marion, Ark., Susie Bettis, Rogers; two stepsons, Buddy Bettis and wife, Amber, WentzVille, Mo., and Chris Bettis, Rogers; three brothers, Paul Auchmoody, Hot Springs, Ark, John Auchmoody and wife, Jan, Byers, Texas, and Bill Auchmoody, Texas; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Minta Auchmoody Patterson; one granddaughter, Brittany Bettis. In lieu of flowers, make donations to American Cancer Society.
