Sheila Margaret Sherman

Sheila Margaret Sherman went to her great reward Friday, November 9, 2012. She was born to Albert Bradshaw and May Bird on June 18, 1931 in Manchester, England. From an early age, she was a true beauty, becoming a cosmetician and later a model. Sheila lived her life to the fullest, traveling to numerous countries and touching many people's hearts. She was preceded in death by her first husband CMSgt Philip DeWitt of King's Creek, Ohio. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Robert Sherman; two sons, Mark and Michael DeWitt; daughter-in-law, Sherree DeWitt; and granddaughter, Ashley DeWitt. She is also survived by her beloved cousin Harvey Bird and wife Janet; nephews, Mark and Matthew Bird; as well as their spouses and children, all of Great Britain. On her husband's side, she is survived by step-son Brad Sherman; daughter-in-law, Chris; and step-grandchildren, Mattie and Harry Baber. For many years, she enjoyed the company of devoted friend and housekeeper Patricia McPhearson. A private interment service will take place at Mount Holly Cemetery on Wednesday, November 14.
