Sandra Lee Halstad

Sandra Lee Halstad "Sandy" entered this life on Oct. 22, 1965, in San Jose, Calif., and entered into rest on Oct. 5, 2012, at the age of 46 years in San Diego, Calif. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 16 years, Jeffrey Halstad; son, Cody Halstad; brother, Rod Anderson; parents, Rod and Linde Anderson; extended family and friends. Sandy lived the past 35 years in the Lakeside area. She was a proud and dedicated homemaker in caring for her family. Sandy was the best thing to happen in my life at the time of her birth and childhood. She was a happy child with amazing common sense. Her sense of ordinal direction was really great. When she was only 5 she could give direction on how to drive to her different activities. She was very smart and was in the gifted and talented class at her school. Sandy was a remarkable athlete. She excelled at every sport she tried out for. She still holds some records from her time in junior high school even to this day. When Sandy was young her family lived in Saudi Arabia, where she attended the International School. Upon graduating from junior high school Sandy attended a boarding school in Arizona. When her parents returned to the USA, Sandy moved with her family to Fallbrooke, Calif., where she graduated from high school. Local arrangements by Beard's Funeral Chapel.
