Leila Mae Fogle Leflett, 79, of Rogers, Ark., died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at her home. She was born Feb. 14, 1933, in Rogers, Ark., the daughter of Bessie Thomas and Ross Fogle. She was the salutatorian of the Class of 1951 from Rogers High School. She worked with the Rogers Public Schools for over 20 years. She found her greatest joy spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Also, she loved all children. She felt closest to God while in the wild, walking in the woods and gardening. She was an avid enthusiast of wild flowers. She enjoyed sewing and making crafts. She was very witty and always an optimist; she walked on the sunny side of the street. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leslie Gayland Leflett; two brothers, Gareld Fogle and Donald Fogle. Survivors include one son, Faron Leflett and his wife, Teresa, of Rogers, Ark.; two daughters, Linda Leflett Gracy and her husband, Terry, of Rogers, Ark., Anita Leflett and her husband, Daniel Kerlin, of Fayetteville, Ark.; one sister, Myrtis and her husband, Lawrence Waggoner, of Rogers, Ark.; one brother, Fred Fogle of Rogers, Ark.; four grandchildren, Jacob Nelms of Fort Collins, Colo., Meagan Gracy and her fiance, Joey Hurt, of Rogers, Ark., Trevor Gracy and his wife, Kimberly Mills Gracy, of Gentry, Ark., Jessie Max Kerlin of Fayetteville, Ark.; two step-grandchildren, Sarah Winter and her husband, Craig, of Denver, Colo., Rachael Smith and her husband, Jeremai, of Wales, United Kingdom; and three step-great-grandchildren, Jacob Smith of Wales, United Kingdom, Jesse Smith of Wales, United Kingdom, and Sienna Winter of Denver, Colo.; numerous nieces and nephews and many special friends. A memorial visitation will take place Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at Leila's home from 2:30 to 4 p.m. The family looks forward to guests dropping by and sharing stories of Leila's life. Graveside service will be Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. at Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers, with Lawrence Waggoner officiating.
