Eva Dean Fitzgerald Terry lost her battle with cancer and "flew away" from Fayetteville City Hospital the morning of March 30, 2012, on "the wings of a snow white dove." She was born to Odless Harrison and Ina Jane Ballanger Fitzgerald on Feb. 18, 1925, west of Springdale in the Oak Grove Community. Eva Dean grew up in the Oak Grove Community west of Springdale. She attended school there through the eighth grade. She graduated from Springdale High School in 1943 and later graduated from business college. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leonard Edward Terry, to whom she was married Nov. 1, 1946; her sister and brother-in-law, Ethel and Johnny Gobble; her brother, Everett H. (Jack) Fitzgerald; nephew, Douglas Harrison Fitzgerald; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Guy and Lena Bell Terry and their sons, Danny and Michael Terry; brother-in-law, Harold (Budge) Terry and his sons, Randy and Roger Terry; sister-in-law, Kathlene (Terry) Crudup; sister-in-law, Juanita (Perry) Terry; sister-in-law, Betty (Wyatt) Terry and her son, Billy Gene Terry. She is survived by one daughter, Susan Storment and husband, John; one grandson, Ben Storment and fiance, Randa Taylor; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be Monday, April 2, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, with the Rev. Charlie Foster and the Rev. Louis Dewitt officiating. Burial will be in the Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
