Emil Krevokuch, 91, of Boca Raton, Fla., formerly of Huntsville, died March 18, 2012 at Delray Beach, Fla. He was born Nov. 11, 1920, at Chicago, Ill., the son of Joseph and Anna Curido Krevokucha. He was a union carpenter, a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army Air Corps. He was a member of the Serbian Orthodox Church, a member of the Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters, a past commander of Post #10,021, Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of Hayes-Smith Post #137, American Legion, both in Huntsville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Marie Oberman Krevokuch on Aug. 28, 2000, one son, Emil Joseph Krevokuch, one daughter, Leighann Krevokuch and three sisters, Daisy Cheetham, Florence Lewis and Anne Koch-Jones. Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Laurel K. and Lee I. Giller of Boca Raton, Fla., and one grandson, Aaron Joseph Giller of Delray Beach, Fla. The Trisagion Service including the Devine Liturgy will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, at Saint Nicholas Orthodox Christian Church in Springdale with Father John Atchison officiating. Interment will be in Saint Joseph's Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ark., under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville. Pallbearers will be: Aaron J. Giller, Edward J. Oberman, Dewayne Davis, John R. Krompotic, William J. Oberman and John Henry Ogden. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday at the church. Memorials may be made to Post #10,021, Veterans of Foreign Wars at Huntsville or the Madison County Pet Shelter, Post Office Box 364, Huntsville, AR 72740-0364.
