Jean Vaughn

Jean Vaughn, 86, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012, in Fayetteville. She was born March 25, 1925, in Pea Ridge, Ark., the daughter of Edwin "Doc" Brown and Winnie Crabtree. She was a Methodist, and with her husband Paul, who preceded her in death in 1994, owned and operated local Radio Shacks. She also owned and operated Craft World-Tandy Leather. Survivors include three sons, David Vaughn of Fayetteville, Craig Vaughn of Fayetteville, Eric Vaughn of Goshen; daughter, Avis Ruge of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. Saturday till service time. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Moore's Chapel.
