Mary Sessions

Mary Sessions, 87, Harrison, died Saturday, March 17, 2012. She was born May 29, 1924, in Parthenon, the daughter of Lee and Gertrude (McHughes) Hudson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; her brother, Don Hudson; and her sister, Freda Williams. Mary was a member and elder of First Presbyterian Church. She grew up in Parthenon and moved to Harrison prior to her senior year graduating from Harrison High School. She worked in the family owned restaurant, Deluxe Cafe', the Harrison Water Department, and finally First Federal Bank for 25 years until her retirement. She was a member of the Red Hat Club, Chi Sigma Sorority and volunteered with NARMC Auxiliary. Mary loved to play golf and enjoyed many rounds as member of the Harrison County Club. Most of all Mary enjoyed time spent with her grandsons. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Pam Sessions and Pat and Carla Sessions; sister, Polly Hudson; grandsons, October Sessions and wife Paola, Jasper Sessions, Tracy Sessions and wife Angela and Dylan Sessions; great-grandson, Bodhi John Sessions; and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial service 11 a.m., Thursday, March 22nd, at First Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Jane Huffstetler officiating. Memorials: First Presbyterian Church, 220 N.
