Opal Louise Dale Wallman

Opal Louise Dale Wallman, 85, of Fayetteville died Monday, March 12, 2012, at North Hills Life Care and Rehab in Fayetteville. She was born Oct. 24, 1926, in Pryor, Okla., to Alva and Carrie Dale. She was a beautiful woman, both in looks and in her heart. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren who called her "GiGi" and her great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Melvin Dale, Larry Dale and Alvin Dale; and two sisters, Marie Spence and Clara Sallaz. Survivors include her son, David Acker and wife Mary Anne of Maui, Hawaii; three daughters, Judith Kelley and husband Bob of Prior Lake, Minn., Kathryn Goodfellow and husband Scott of Indianapolis, Ind., Rebekah Litzinger and husband Joe of Fayetteville; sister, Lola Jacobson of LaCygne, Kan.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the North Hills staff for the excellent, compassionate care they gave Opal during the last years of her life. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2012, at North Hills Life Care and Rehab, 27 East Appleby Road, Fayetteville, AR 72703.
