Janet Elaine Dake

Janet Elaine Dake, 67, of Rogers, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on March 25, 1944, to the late Enos and Esther (Fox) Dearth. Janet was primarily a wife and mother, but also worked as a cook part-time at Baker Elementary in Bentonville. She was also a member of First Christian Church in Rogers. Survivors include her beloved husband of 47 years, Ray Dake; children, Tiffany Dake of Rogers, Cheyne Dake and wife, Sukey, of Rogers, Heath Dake and wife, Natalie, of Centerton; a brother, Dennis Dearth of Nappanee, Ind.; and grandchildren, Naragon Hashem, Madison, Tanner, Garrett, Rowan and Reese Dake. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Lowell Dearth. Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, at First Christian Church in Rogers, officiated by the Rev. Shawn Wallace and the Rev. Ronny Nowell. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, should be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or to First Christian Church, 905 S. 13th St., Rogers 72756.
