James David Starr

James "David" Starr, 67, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, March 11, 2012, at home. He was born Aug. 26, 1944, in Fayetteville, to Leonard and Bertha Starr. He was a member of the New Life Tabernacle Pentecostal Church of God in Baldwin. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Sherlene Green, Shirley Ralston and Annie Holly. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Starr of the home; daughter, Theresa Henry and husband Jimmy of Fayetteville; four sons, Mark Starr and Amanda of Farmington, Tony Starr and wife, Sara, Brian Star and Jeff Grubbs, all of Fayetteville; brother, Stanley Starr of Hot Springs; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends today from 5-7 p.m. at Beard's Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at New Life Tabernacle in Baldwin, with the Rev.
