"Wild Bill" William Lynn McCready passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, in his sleep after a long illness. He was born April 8, 1950, in Prague, Okla., to William "Buck" and Martha J. McCready. Bill was a retired master electrician, an avid sportsman and motorcycle enthusiast. In addition to being president of his 13 Rebel MC Charter 5, Bill was a longtime member of the Arkansas Bikers Aiming Towards Education, AMA, MRF and for 14 years was an active committee member in the Mid South M.I.L.E.s, five-state educational seminars (Motorcyclists Improving Legislative Effectiveness). Bill is survived by his wife, Ann, of the home; one son, Chantz McCready and his wife, Chrissy, of Rogers, Ark.; three daughters, Shelli and her husband, Chris McDaniel, of Bentonville, Ark., Kema and her husband, Frank Vassar, of Dayton, Ohio, Amber and her husband, Jeremiah Girdley, of Centerton, Ark.; one sister, Mary Sue Watkins of Paden, Okla.; and nine grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 10, at 11 a.m. at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.
