Connie Sue Overstreet-Webb, 64, of Bentonville, Ark., passed away Monday, March 5, 2012, after a brief illness, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born Feb. 4, 1948, in Purdy, Mo., to Haskell Walker and Louise Abbott Walker. Connie was a graduate of Pea Ridge High School. She was a licensed beautician at Pauline's Beauty Shop in Pea Ridge and Rose's Beauty Shop in Bentonville. She and her husband, Fred, owned and operated Overstreet Printing and NWA Wheels magazine for many years. She was a very active member of First Baptist Church, playing the piano, singing in the choir and thoroughly enjoying her many years of service in the bus and jail ministries. She worked for the family business, Overstreet's Jewelry, full-time for the last 13 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law, Belle Overstreet; and husband of 41 years, Fred Douglas Overstreet. Survivors include her husband, Gary L. Webb, whom she married Feb. 26, 2010; sons, Doug Overstreet and wife, Kathy, of Bentonville, Danny Overstreet of Bentonville, Clayton Morgan of Rogers and Clem Morgan of Bentonville. She is also survived by her father-in-law, Ralph Overstreet, founder of Overstreet's Jewelry in Bentonville; uncle and aunt, the Rev. Tommy Hinson and wife, Jo, of Rogers; grandchildren, Madalyn Overstreet, Morgan Overstreet, Samantha Overstreet; Gary's son, Duane Webb and wife, Lisa, of Bentonville, and their three sons, Benjamin, Davis and Jackson. Her other family survivors are her sisters, Faye Baum and husband, Glen, Barbara Phillips and Janet Moon. Visitation with the family will be from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Bentonville Saturday, March 10, 2012. The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Philip Smith and the Rev. Tommy Hinson officiating. To help defray medical expenses, memorials may be made in the name of "Connie Overstreet Contribution Fund" at any area Arvest Bank.
