Charles Gamble

Charles Mack Gamble, 80, of Bentonville, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. He was born Nov. 4, 1931, in Bentonville, to the late Willie and Gladys (Scoggins) Gamble. Charles was a veteran, having served his country in the Army during the Korean War. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Gladys; one daughter, Julie Renee Gamble; two brothers, Dwight and Roy Gamble; and one sister, Ruth Gamble Rodgers. Survivors include one daughter, Cindi Oliver; one son, Doug Gamble and his wife, Wendee; two brothers, Gene Gamble and his wife, Louise, and JC Gamble; two sisters, Louise Barnett and Mary Ann Cutberth and her husband, Tony; and two grandchildren, Dustin Gamble and Amanda Bayler. Charles will be laid to rest in Bentonville City Cemetery at a private family ceremony. Cremation arrangements made under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.
