Susie Moore

Susie Moore, 81, passed away February 28, 2012 in Springdale, AR. She was born July 7, 1930 in Rawls, TX to John and Maggie Green Hampton. She worked as a remedial reading and math teacher in the Fort Smith Public Schools for 19 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Moore. She is survived by one daughter, Kay Lyon and her husband Charles of Rogers, Ark.; one son, Dwight Moore and his wife Debbie of Jay, Okla.; one half-sister, Betty Jane Norris of Atlanta, Ga.; three grandchildren, Ethan Williams of Rogers, Ark., Meredith Moore of Richmond, Va., Jennifer Recker of Monument, Colo., and two great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be: Charles Lyon, Ethan Williams, Dwight Moore, and Mike Lawrence. Honorary Pallbearer will be John Melton.
