Henry Anthony White, 93, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at W.R. Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born on Jan. 16, 1919, in Rochester, N.Y. He served in the U.S. Army in infantry and paramedics, serving in the Philippines during World War II. He was a charter member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. He was active in several bridge clubs, Men's 18 Hole Golf, tennis, VFW and American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents; 10 brothers and sisters; and wife, Mary J. White on Jan. 22, 2000. Deeply missed by son, Michael D. White of Norwich, Conn.; two grandchildren, Andrew H. White and Stephen H. White of Norwich, Conn.; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, and many close friends. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until Rosary at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass of Resurrection at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2012, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, One St. Bernard Lane, Bella Vista, Ark. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark. Inurnment will follow at the Bella Vista Cemetery.
