Mary Lou Oliver

Mary Lou Oliver, 83, of Bentonville, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012. She was born Aug. 3, 1928, in Hartford, Ark., to Joe and Barbara Kersh McCafferty. Mary Lou was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. When she wasn't spending time with her family, she was crocheting or doing crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Oliver; her parents; and 10 siblings. Mary Lou is survived by her son, Billy Oliver and wife, Patty, of Noel, Mo.; one brother, R.C. McCafferty and wife, Sue, of Bella Vista, Ark.; one sister, Sue Preston of Alma, Ark.; two grandchildren, Andrew Oliver and wife, Sennet, of Bentonville, Ark., and Sarah Waddell and husband, Matt, of Centerton, Ark.; five great-grandchildren, Anthony Oliver, Christopher Oliver, Cory Oliver, Hadley Waddell and Alyssa Waddell. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Mark Snodgrass officiating. Burial will be at Bentonville City Cemetery.
