Lalah Juanita Curran

Lalah Juanita Dorsey Curran, 86, passed away on Feb. 26, 2012, in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born on March 4, 1925, in Lowell, Ark., to Ephram "Dean" and Lillie Alma Dorsey. Lalah married Billy Gene Curran on Sept. 5, 1942, and to this union was born four children: Lois Jeanette, Deloris Ann, Billy Raymond and Diana Lynn. Lalah and Billy lived in the Cave Springs area for 69 years. Her life was devoted to being a mother and housewife. After her children were married, she took up painting, and painted many beautiful pictures for her family. She loved flowers and nature. She received and served the Lord Jesus Christ for many years. Her favorite scripture was Psalms 91. We will miss her dearly. Her parents, one brother and one sister preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 69 years, Billy Gene of the home; three daughters, Jeanette Sizemore and husband Jerry of Bentonville, Ark., Deloris Crawford and husband James of Conway, Ark., Diana Lynn Whorton and husband Mike of Siloam Springs, Ark.; one son, Billy Raymond Curran and wife, Gail of Gentry, Ark.; 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. A visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2012, at New Hope Assembly of God in Rogers with Pastor James Longmate and Brian Whorton officiating.
