John E. 'Jay' Burch Jr.

John E. "Jay" Burch Jr., 44, of Centerton passed away Nov. 26, 2012, in his home. He was born March 15, 1968, in El Paso, Texas, the son of John E. Burch Sr. and Clara Dean Thurmond Burch. John graduated from Russellville High School in 1986 and Arkansas Tech in 1988. He was the general manager for Red Lobster Restaurant in Fayetteville. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Russellville and the Darden Diamond Club. He is preceded in death by his father. Survived by his wife, Rhonda J. Seagraves Burch of the home; one daughter, Tori Burch of the home; his mother, Clara Dean Burch of Russellville; his sister, Tess Spears of Owasso, Okla.; his mother-in-law, Phyllis Hubbard and husband, Ron, of London, Ark.; brother-in-law, Chad Seagraves and wife, Kerri, of London, Ark.; one nephew, John Spears; and three nieces, Sharon Spears, Emma and Adrian Seagraves. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers, with Anthony McCallum officiating.
