Willard Ray Cantrell

Willard Ray Cantrell, son of T.J. and Mary (Weinburg) Cantrell, was born on Feb. 24, 1942, in Van Buren, Ark., and departed this life on Saturday, April 21, 2012, in Farmington, Ark., at the age of 70 years, one month and 25 days. Willard was a very loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, T.J. and Mary Cantrell; sister, Colene Newberry. Those remaining to keep his memory are his wife, Donna Cantrell, of the home in Farmington, Ark.; children, Rebecca Guinn and husband, Randall, of Greenland, Ark., Melissa Trentham and husband, Bill, Shannon Lee and husband, Chris, all of Stilwell, Okla., Dustin Cantrell and wife, Heather, of Westville, Okla.; grandchildren, Skyla Guinn and Shamari Haney of Fayetteville, Ark., Nathan Guinn of Greenland, Ark., Kolby Thurber and husband, Brian, Chandler Trentham, Dalton and Caden Lee of Stilwell, Tyler Choate of Stillwater, Okla., Paisley Cantrell, Brian Byers, Remy and Anna Harmon of Westville; great-grandchildren, Jadyn Haney, Myah Haney of Fayetteville, Ark., Bryson and Layne Guinn of Greenland, Ark., Dylan, Bryar, Kasia and Talon Thurber of Stilwell, Okla.; brother, Lonnie Cantrell of Lincoln, Ark.; sisters, Helen Bailey and Sue Cantrell of Lincoln, Ark. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends. Memorial services will be held today, April 24, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Summers Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Paul Young officiating.
