Paramount pictures: The second annual Fort Smith International Film Festival was held at the historic Temple Live, which first opened in 1929 as a Masonic temple and is a terrific example of Art Deco-influenced Egyptian Revival architecture.
I've done some tabulations recently and as of my current count there are roughly 22 film festivals/events in the state of Arkansas every year. Considering that most of them happen on weekends, that means for a little under a half the year there's always something film-related going on for us...
