Northwest Arkansas National Airport opened 25 years ago, we’re talking with two of the folks, Scott Van Laningham and Uvalde Lindsey, who helped make it happen about some history and the significant impact the airport has had on the region.

The Airport has become a fixture in the region and almost a million people boarded flights this year, bound for destinations across the country and around the world but building a new airport in the middle of nowhere Arkansas in the 1990s was anything but a sure bet.
