FORT SMITH -- A passenger car-train collision occurred at 1600 Phoenix Ave. Thursday evening, causing traffic delays for those in the area.
Police reported it took about an hour for the road to be clear, and asked those traveling through the area to keep that in mind or seek alternative routes.
Police Spokesman Aric Mitchell said no substances were involved, no one was injured and the vehicle had minor damages.
