Liz Cheney, Wyoming congresswoman and chairwoman of the House Republican Conference from 2019 to 2021, joins the list Dec. 19 of nationally and internationally recognized speakers appearing this year at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville.

The lecture series, which also includes a sold-out appearance by Hillary Clinton Nov. 30, was scheduled in support of "We the People: The Radical Notion of Democracy," a rare presentation of the U.S. Constitution and other founding documents in conversation with a diversity of artworks, on view through Jan. 2, 2023.

Cheney will speak at 6 p.m. Dec. 19 in Eleven Restaurant, joined on stage by Caryl M. Stern, executive director of the Walton Family Foundation.

The Cheney event was sold out before it was announced to the public today. Online access to both lectures is available by signing up at crystalbridges.org.
