Sebastian County sees two new Democrats in Quorum Court for Fort Smith in recent election

FORT SMITH — Election results are in for the Sebastian County Quorum Court districts 10 and 11, which cover a majority of Fort Smith.

Complete but unofficial results show Democrat Dickie Robertson winning against Republican James Higginbotham in the District 10 race.

Robertson 189 (62.38%)

Higginbotham 114 (37.62%)

Similarly, complete but unofficial results show Libertarian Zach Mulson losing to Democrat Jerry Ward in the District 11 race.

Mulson 117 (42.70%)

Ward 157 (57.30%)

EARLIER: Polls have closed and early vote numbers for Sebastian County have been released. 

In races for Fort Smith directors, Christina Catsavis, Kevin Settle and Neal Martin are leading after early voting. 

With early vote results still coming in, Democrats Dickie L. Robertson and Gerry Ward have slight leads in their races for Justice of the Peace.

Incumbent representatives Steve Womack and Bruce Westerman hold lead for U.S. Congress Districts 3 and 4 respectively.

In the state races, Sarah Huckabee Sanders leads for Governor, while Leslie Rutledge holds a lead for Lt. Governor.

Senator Gary Stubblefield leads in the State Senate District 26 race, Justin Boyd for District 27 while Democrat Jay Richardson currently leads in the race for State Representative District 49.

For State Representative District 50 Republican Zack Gramlich has the lead and State Representative District 52 Representative Marcus Richmond is leading.
