In the search for answers, don't look to government

What are some of the more pressing problems this country faces today. Covid, inflation, national debt, Social Security and Medicare, cost of health care, prestige and influence on the world stage.

Covid has become less deadly with each mutation, which is typical of viruses. Between the vaccine and natural immunity being built up, covid will become just like the flu and we will not be concerned with it.

Inflation and the national debt are both caused by this government. The people in Washington, both parties, do not know how to balance the budget. One party likes social programs, the other likes military programs, but neither balance the budget. When a child is born today, they are immediately burdened with a $100,000 debt ($30 trillion debt/330 million people). Yes, every man woman and child owes the government $100,000. It is immoral to pass debt to the next generation. What is the cause of this immoral act – government! Both parties!

Social Security and Medicare are running out of money. Again, these issues are caused by government. Neither party wants to address the issue because if they do, the national debt will completely explode. Again the cause is government. Both parties.

If you truly want to know whyhealth care costs so much read "Murder by Injection" by Eustace Mullins (1986). He outlines the American Medical Association and what a farce it is and how the government, with its unlimited power, supported and enforced the dictates of the AMA. What allowed the AMA to dictate medicine and the associated costs? Government. Read his book. Both parties allowed this to happen!

America is in decline. The dollar is worth less every year. It is worth less than 3 cents compared to 1903. Wages have not kept up with the decline in the purchasing power of the dollar. Read the Hazzard Circular of 1862. You can find it on the Internet, surprisingly. What is the cause of this decline? Government, both parties. Individuals could not cause this much damage to society. Only government could.

Take out a piece of paper. Draw a line down the middle. On the left put the heading, "Things the government has done for me over the past 10 years." You cannot count Social Security and Medicare because you paid for these. On the right, list "Things the government has done against me over the past 10 years." Make sure you list all the taxes you have paid including federal income tax, state income tax, sales tax, property tax, tax on the cell phone bill, tax on your utility bills, etc. All these costs go on the right-hand side. Seriously think about this for a while. This is not a 20-minute exercise.

If you do the exercise diligently and honestly, you will discover government is not the answer to our problems but government is the cause of our problems. Both parties!
