MISSIONS 5, NATURALS 3

Northwest Arkansas' three-run fourth inning wasn't enough Tuesday in the series opener of a six-game set against San Antonio at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale.

All three of the Naturals' runs came on Sebastian Rivero's bases-clearing double, but Brandon Dixon hit a two-run homer off Naturals starter Jonathan Bowlan (0-2) the next half inning to put San Antonio up 4-3.

Former University of Arkansas All-American Kevin Kopps picked up his first hold of the season, tossing a perfect eighth inning with a strikeout. The Missions' bullpen tossed four scoreless innings to close out the win, allowing just one hit while striking out five.
