Springdale meeting to focus on state transit needs

The Arkansas Department of Transportation will conduct several public meetings across the state, including one in Springdale later this month, to seek input on an update to the federally required Statewide Public Transit Coordination Plan.

The public may view plan materials and provide written comments through an online survey until 4:30 p.m. Aug. 31 at https://www.ardot.gov/news/22-174/.

Members of the department's Transportation Planning and Policy Division will host a local meeting at 2 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission offices, 1311 Clayton St. in Springdale.
