Development company ERC Holdings is creating and expanding its housing projects in Fort Smith's Chaffee Crossing neighborhood.

The new subdivision projects are predicted to have a combined economic impact of more than $100 million, according to a Wednesday release from the company.

"The dynamic growth Fort Smith is experiencing and will continue to experience will demand housing, all types of housing," Rod Coleman, ERC Holdings chairman, said in a statement.

The Regency Phase II subdivision will offer three and four bedroom homes in the upper $100,000 range; Abbington Creek will feature luxury duplexes mixed with light commercial development; The Meadows at Chaffee will include homes 1,800 to 2,400 square feet in size priced in the $275,000 to $350,000 range; Providence Phase IV features 13 lots for luxury homes in the 2,700 to 4,000 square foot range; and Alianna at The HUB will include 21 single-family lots in a gated area, most of which will have access to the Chaffee Crossing trails.
