Arkansas Board of Apportionment will hold redistricting hearings across the state, according to a news release.
In Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley, hearings will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. Aug. 5 at the Shewmaker Center for Workforce Technologies at Northwest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville and Aug. 17 at the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center (Reynolds Room) at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.
Former Chief Justice Betty C. Dickey, who was recently appointed as coordinator of the board of apportionment, and members of the board set eight hearings.
