Police searching for 3-year-old girl

Little Rock Police were searching for a 3-year-old child who was taken from a shooting scene Monday night in southwest Little Rock.

Police were called to a Kroger at 8814 Geyer Springs Road at around 8 p.m. in response to a shooting, a police spokesman said. During the shooting, the victim's child, Deliliah Collier, was taken from the scene by her mother and a suspect in the shooting, according to the department's Facebook page.

The suspect's vehicle was described as a four-door silver BMW, temporary tags taped on the window, the post said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, according to the department. No other information was available on the shooting or the victim's identity.

The investigation is ongoing.

Suspect arrested in Vilonia shooting

Pulaski County sheriff's officers arrested a man after a shooting on Blair Drive in Vilonia injured one person Monday afternoon, according to an arrest report.

Cody Nicholson, 26, of Vilonia was arresting on charges of first degree battery, according to the report.

The victim was grazed by a bullet in the right arm and back. The victim and several witnesses identified Nicholson as the shooter, according to the report. Nicholson admitted to police he was at the residence and shot his gun, but he said he was aiming at the ground.

Nicholson was taken to Pulaski County jail.

Drugs, gun found during traffic stop

Police arrested a man on drug charges after making a traffic stop for unsafe driving, according to an arrest report.

Dallas Crowder, 25, of North Little Rock was arrested on charges of possession of a firearm by a certain persons, possession of a controlled substance with intent, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, first-degree criminal mischief and resisting arrest.

Crowder was the driver and an officer saw he had active warrants, according to the report. He refused to exit the vehicle and, once removed, he continued to resist arrest.

While inside the police vehicle, Crowder kicked the driver side door, causing the frame to bend so that it was unable to fully close, according to the report. A gun and a bottle of pills were found in the suspect's car.

Crowder was being held at the Pulaski County jail on a $5,000 bond Monday night.
