Robinson out or season
FAYETTEVILLE -- University of Arkansas freshman guard Khalen Robinson underwent season-ending surgery Sunday to repair a bone fracture in his right foot, the UA announced.
Robinson, from Little Rock, played off the bench in the first 11 games and averaged 2.6 points, 1.0 assist and 0.8 rebounds in 8.4 minutes. He scored a season-high 15 points in the opener when Arkansas beat Mississippi Valley State 142-62.
Robinson played five minutes in the first half of the Razorbacks' game at Tennessee on Wednesday night, then told the coaching staff he couldn't go in the second half because of soreness in his foot, Coach Eric Musselman said. Robinson didn't dress out for Saturday's 99-69 victory over Georgia and was on crutches with a boot on his foot.
