Rogers Heritage 68,

FS Southside 58

Jaden Torres has 18 points to lead four Heritage players in double figures as the War Eagles defeated visiting Southside in Thursday's makeup game in War Eagle Arena.

The War Eagles erupted for a 20-4 first-quarter lead but had to pull away again after the Mavericks closed the gap to 29-24 at halftime. Heritage then stretched its lead to 47-38 after three quarters.

Taylor Dumond was next for Heritage with 13 points, while Micah Hill scored all 11 of his points in the first half and Kirees Sampson added 10. Yazed Taforo and Tristan Lane had 16 and 15 points, respectively, for Southside.

Charleston 58, Cedarville 51

Charleston outscored Cedarville 21-13 in the fourth quarter, and the Tigers moved on to the 3A-4 Conference Tournament championship with a win Thursday night at Cedarville.

Charleston, the tournament's third seed, travels tonight to top-seeded Waldron, which moved on with a win over Booneville.

The Tigers jumped out to a 15-10 lead after one quarter, but needed a fourth-quarter comeback after Cedarville closed the gap to 24-23 at halftime and had a 38-37 lead after three quarters.

Brandon Scott had 41 points and was the only Charleston player in double figures.

The New School 56,

NWA Classical 24

The top-seeded Cougars rolled to a 36-6 halftime lead and cruised to the big win, advancing to the 1A-1 West Conference Tournament finals.

The New School (32-3) got 13 points each from sophomores Will Sturner and Evan Goldman. Senior Holden Blankenship chipped in 10. The Cougars will host County Line in the tournament finals at 5:30 on Saturday.

Waldron 77, Booneville 44

Gada Wagner hit six 3-point field goals and finished with 26 points to lead surging Waldron to a blowout of Booneville in the semifinals of the District 3A-4 Tournament.

Braden Williams added 10 points for the Bulldogs (22-5).

Blake Jones and Jacob Herrera led Booneville (15-6) with 14 and 13 points, respectively.

Waldron will face Charleston in today's 6 p.m. championship game.

Charleston 58, Cedarville 51

Brandon Scott was feeling it again Thursday night.

Scott poured in 41 points to help Charleston rally for a win over Cedarville in the semifinals of the District 3A-4 Tournament.

In addition, the Tigers' Brevyn Ketter and Trenton Goodson scored eight and six points, respectively. Dalton Curtis added three points.

Darryl Kattich led Cedarville (14-10) with 19 points. Dylan Cluck added 11.

Mansfield 59, Mountainburg 45

The Mansfield Tigers are proving it's not how you start but where you finish.

Codi Chick scored 17 points Thursday to help Mansfield upset Mountainburg at the District 2A-4 West tournament.

Mansfield (9-15) will face Acorn in today's championship game.

Ethan Gregory led the Dragons (18-5) with 24 points. Teammate Sam Ortlieb finished with eight.

Acorn 51, Lavaca 48 (OT)

Damian Bohlman scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds to help Acorn pull out an overtime win at Lavaca in the 2A-4 West semifinals.

Bohlman also had four blocks for the winners (20-5).

Kolby Glidwell paced Lavaca (13-8) with 16 points. Avery Walker added 11.

Also for the Tigers, Tyler Lyle and Brady Hair added 12 and eight points, respectively.

Morrilton 47,

Subiaco Academy 43

Joseph Pinion scored 23 points to help lead Morrilton to a win over Subiaco Academy in the 4A-4 semifinals.

Matthew Kremers led the Trojans with 17 points.

Girls

Mansfield 67, Mountainburg 51

Makayla Strutton scored 17 points and Danielle Lillie scored eight of her 15 points in the fourth quarter Thursday to power Mansfield to a win over Mountainburg in the District 2A-4 West semifinals.

Freshman Alyson Edwards finished with 11 for the Lady Tigers (19-4). Sophomore Natalie Allison added six for Mansfield.

Jordan Watkins and Kailey France led Mountainburg (11-11) with 15 and 13 points, respectively.
