Both games of the doubleheader will be nine innings with 75 minutes between the end of Game 1 and start of Game 2. The first game will be shown on SEC Network and the second game will be streamed on SEC Network-Plus.

“It will be our first doubleheader of the year," Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn said. "The weather is supposed to be great. We should get them both in. That’s the main thing we want to do.”

Arkansas has not played a doubleheader since it split two games at Kentucky on May 5, 2019.

Ole Miss has played two doubleheaders this year. The Rebels split a home doubleheader with Central Florida on Feb. 27, with a 6-5 victory in the first game before a 7-2 series-clinching loss in the second game. Ole Miss swept a doubleheader at Alabama on March 26 with victories of 9-6 and 2-0.

The No. 2 Razorbacks (24-4, 7-2) and No. 3 Rebels (23-6, 7-2) are tied atop the SEC West standings.

Left hander Patrick Wicklander (1-1, 2.13 ERA) is scheduled to start Saturday's opener for Arkansas against Ole Miss right hander Gunnar Hoglund (3-1, 2.47).

Tickets purchased for Friday's game will be honored for the first game of the doubleheader. The stadium will be cleared between games, and tickets purchased for Saturday will be accepted for Game 2.
