1,000 shots available at Fayetteville vaccine clinic today

FAYETTEVILLE -- About 1,000 appointments are available for covid-19 vaccines at a mass clinic today at the Northwest Arkansas Mall, according to a news release.

The best times for walk-ins are until 11:45 a.m. and 2-4 p.m.

The Northwest Arkansas Council is hosting the mass clinic in the former Sears store repair bays on the south end of the mall.

The event started at 8 a.m. and is scheduled to go until 4 p.m.

Registration is required when you arrive, but walk-ins will be accepted.

People can register at nwacouncil.org/nwavaccines.

Everyone who receives a first dose at today's clinic will be scheduled for a second dose.
