LR woman facing eight drug charges

Little Rock police arrested a woman on eight felony drug charges Wednesday afternoon, according to an arrest report.

Authorities executed a warrant at 4107 Sam Pack Drive where methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, MDMA and drug paraphernalia were found, the report said. Arrested was 36-year-old Audra Nelson, according to the report.

Nelson, who lives at the residence with her daughter, was arrested at 2:30 p.m. and taken to the Pulaski County jail where she was being held without bail.

She is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine with purpose, felony possession of cocaine with purpose, felony possession of fentanyl with purpose, felony possession of MDMA with purpose, felony possession of drug paraphernalia with purpose, felony maintaining a drug premises, felony possession of substances in a proximity to certain facilities and felony endangering the welfare of a minor.

Traffic stop leads to drug case arrest

A Little Rock man was arrested in North Little Rock on drug charges during a traffic stop Tuesday evening, according to an arrest report.

An officer pulled over a Jeep Renegade driven by Jovon Jones after seeing the vehicle go over a curb, flatten three tires and drive into oncoming traffic near 3600 MacArthur Drive, the report said.

The officer smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle, detained Jones and searched the vehicle, finding a Glock-17 pistol, a pill bottle with 64.5 xanax pills and $1,265 in cash, according to the report.

Jones told police he must have fallen asleep while driving, the report said.

He was taken to the Pulaski County jail where he was being held without bail and is charged with felony possession of xanax with purpose and felony simultaneous possession of drugs and a firearm.
