Maintenance on sections of Interstate 40 in Pulaski and Lonoke counties will require rolling lane closings this morning, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said.
Crews will conduct a rolling lane closing of the I-40 eastbound outside lane from North Hills Boulevard to the Interstate 440 overpass in North Little Rock from 9 to 10 a.m. and from east of Kerr Road in Lonoke County from 11 to 11:30 a.m., weather permitting.
These rolling lane closures will allow crews to collect concrete core samples from the roadway, the department said. Traffic will be controlled by mobile message boards pulled by truck and signs.
