Elliott reports $27,600 in donations

State Sen. Joyce Elliott, D-Little Rock, on Thursday reported receiving 17 donations of $1,000 or more, totaling $27,600.

Six were received Tuesday and 11 were added Wednesday, she told the Federal Election Commission in a filing.

Elliott is challenging Republican U.S. Rep. French Hill of Little Rock in Arkansas' 2nd Congressional District.

Election Day is Tuesday.

Under federal law, candidates aren't required to file their next full campaign finance report until Dec. 3. However, they must file notices listing any donation of $1,000 or more within 48 hours of receipt.

The contributions listed for Tuesday, totaling $13,600, came from:

• Terri PAC, Washington, $1,000

• Wesley Clark, Little Rock, $2,800

• Janet Lang, Los Angeles, $2,800

• Voter Protection Project, Seattle, $5,000

• Shore PAC, Long Branch, N.J., $1,000

• New South Leadership PAC, Raleigh, N.C., $1,000

The contributions listed for Wednesday, totaling $14,000, came from:

• Rhianon DeLeeuw, Fayetteville, $1,000

• David Stiepelman, San Francisco, $1,000

• Jeffries for Congress, Washington, $2,000

• Gwen Moore for Congress, Washington, $1,000
