Winners of the 29th Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, which was held virtually from Oct. 9 to Oct. 17 this year, have been announced.

US Features Winner: "Jacinta," directed by Jessica Earnshaw

Jury Special Mention: "Through the Night," directed by Loira Limbal

International Feature Winner: "Once Upon a Time in Venezuela," directed by Anabel Rodríguez Ríos

Best Southern Documentary: "Missing in Brooks County," directed by Lisa Molomot and Jeff Bemiss

Special Jury Mention: "Rap Squad," directed by Nathan Willis

Best Documentary Short: "To Calm the Pig Inside (Ang Pagpakalma sa Unos)," directed by Joanna Vasquez Arong
